ChrisBirds5K captured a Greater Roadrunner running! At first the bird looks brown but when you look carefully you’ll see a rainbow of colors on it.
Bajadreamer tells us that it took him two trips to Spain and Portugal to capture this shot of a Collared Pratincole, a native of Africa that has taken up residence just over the Mediterranean Sea. I love the bright red on the base of its bill. Great BIF shot!
This immature Black-crowned Night-Heron looks like it is standing on the slope of a dam. The bright red eye really stands out. Nice one, Kaur!
