Better late than never, here are some pics from our members I think you will find interesting:
We’ll start out with a composite pic that contains two eggs of a Variable Oystercatcher and a shot of the bird. Rebecca Bowater said she saw the eggs in a “dent” in a “sandspit” – New Zealand slang. Can you believe the eggs are laying out in the open like that? Some nest! Thanks for the before and after pics!
Kaur doesn’t say where he was as he took this picture of a Red-tailed Hawk, but it must have been above the bird. Great image looking down on the soaring bird.
Here’s another soaring bird – an Andean Condor taken by John Weisgerber in Ecuador. He reports that there are only about 100 of them left in the country so it is a very rare bird there. Nice job of capturing a lot of detail of a black bird in the sky!
