I like how Rebecca Bowater (a Naturalist in New Zealand) places two pictures in one image – like a postcard! Here are two shots of a White-fronted Tern with a fish in its beak.
Here’s a bit of an oddity – a Great Horned Owl out during the daytime. Gurineb took this down while she was in Tucson, Arizona.
Birder2011 watched a Red-tailed Hawk and a squirrel play “hide and seek” in a tree (click the pic to read what she had to say). She took the picture in great light.
