A couple of weeks ago Birder2011 submitted this pic of a pelican. In the description she admitted that the bird was flying right at her and she raised her camera too late to get the whole bird. I’ve gone back to this pic several times because, for some unknown reason, I like it. I like the sharpness and the detail of the part of the pelican that is shown. Kinda weird, in an appealing kind of way. What do you think – does it have redeeming qualities to it?
