A Starling in the Snow
This was one of the toughest weeks to select just one great bird pic because there were so many beautiful pictures submitted. Honorable Mentions to Emil Baumbach for his “Grey on White” pic of a titmouse on a mound of snow and to Osprey60 for his series of winter birds in the snow pics. But a winner had to be selected, so congratulations to MelindaG for her photograph “Starling in Winter”! I really like this composition with the black bird with pale yellow chevrons to the left allowing more room to see the white dots of snow coming down to the right. Sharp as a tack, too! Well done MelindaG!
PS – Traveling now and spending too much time birding, tasting wine and golfing to create daily posts. will probably miss a couple next week.
