I know, I featured one of Burning Nature Photography’s Kestrel pictures yesterday, but I like this one even better! The bird is small within the frame, but it’s still large enough for us to see its detail. What caught my eye was the old split-rail fence trailing off into the distance. The post the bird is perched on is in sharp detail and the rest of the posts get progressively out-of-focus the farther back they extend. Note how the bird is not centered, but placed on the left so we can see the fence trailing off into the distance. This is the kind of picture I could look at again and again – truly a GreatBirdPic!
