For our first Bird Photograph of the Week I’m proud to select Bajadreamer’s soaring image of a Black Kite titled, “Incoming”! A perfect shot with a little hint of land on the bottom to give perspective (it would have been tempting to crop it out to increase the size of the bird, but the land anchors the shot), a mix of clouds and blue sky, and great illumination on the bird. You feel like you’re in flight with the bird. Great shot!
